SAVE MONEY ON BUSINESS LINE RENTAL

You can now save £££s on your annual telephone line rental compared to standard BT business line rates. In conjunction with our telecom partners Entacall, we can now provide you with business line rental at just £12.50 + VAT per month with the added advantages of online billing, lower call charges and improved 'personal' support.

We can either arrange to install new lines or transfer existing accounts over - complete with all the usual added features like Call Waiting, Caller ID, 1571 and Callback.

What are the benefits of ordering BT lines from you or transferring our account?
1) Price reduction – Line rental is cheaper than BT's standard charge. Call prices are cheaper too!
2) Better service – A UK-based support team make sure your queries are not passed around different departments or callcentres. You can even speak to the same person if you want each time you call in!

LOWER PRICESDoes the quality of the lines ordered through Entacall different from those ordered directly from BT?
Not at all! The lines that you order through Entacall will still be installed and maintained by BT on BT's network. BT engineers do the installation and maintenance. There is no difference at all between these lines and the lines ordered directly from BT – except for the price!

How can you supply BT lines cheaper than BT?
Entacall, our telecom partner, is a BT authorised wholesaler therefore a discounted price can be passed on to you.

What lines can be supplied?
All BT PSTN and ISDN access products .

Are there any limitations on the type of lines that can be transferred?
The following are a list of services that cannot be transferred from BT:

  • Payphones
  • Access Lines (external extensions, not go through NCCP… etc.)
  • Site lines (e.g. temporary lines. A “site” is defined by BT as having portal cabins/site offices)
  • Feature Lines
  • Feature Net
  • Rented Products (equipment being rented from BT retail)
  • REDABC (obsolete product and cannot be left on line)
  • Cable Lines (Non BT network)
  • NHS Line
  • Virtual Private Network
  • School Internet
  • Switched Multi-Megabit Data Service

What are the ordering options?

New – The provision of serviceif you have no telephone line connected to BT's network. In other words, a completely new line. For this type of order, an engineering visit will normally be required. The engineering visit will be undertaken by BT on behalf of Entacall.

Transfer – To provide service for an End User who already has BT lines and wishes to transfer them to Entacall. In normal circumstances there will be no break in service during the transfer. BT will contact you to advise you that a request has been made to terminate the existing BT contract. BT will then coordinate both the cessation of your existing service, and the commencement of the Entacall service at your address on an agreed date.

Change – If you already have BT lines from Entacall and wish to change features on the line (e.g. provide additional network features). This is normally carried out without an engineering visit, unless additional wiring is required. For existing customers only.

What's the lead time for orders?
New – 10 working days: Transfer – 10 working days: Change – 3 to 10 working days.
Please note above lead times are not guaranteed by BT as it depends on the outcome of site survey and BT's workload.

Who will install the new lines at my premises?
BT's engineers will conduct the site survey and visit your site with BT branded uniform and vehicle to complete the work. The BT engineer acts to fulfil the purpose of the visit and ensure you are satisfied with the work.
(Please note that the engineer will not undertake work beyond the original order)

Can I choose my preferred installation date?
You can state three preferred installation dates on the order form. BT will try to match one of these dates. However please bear in mind that the result of site survey may effect the final installation date - this will be confirmed via our Member Area which you will be able to access 24/7 with a username and password.

Who will invoice me for the installation and ongoing charges?
Entacall will issue both installation and ongoing rental invoices directly to you on a monthly basis.

When I transfer my lines, do I need to know which features I already have?
Ideally, yes. You will lose any additional features during the transfer if you do not submit this information on the order. However if this happens, or if you wish to add features later, you can always submit a “Change” order once the line has been transferred (although this will be chargeable).

If I have faults on the BT lines, who do I report the fault to?
Please report the fault directly to Entacall (Tel: 0870 770 9656) who will contact BT and handle the fault for you. This allows you to have one point of contact when it comes to fault reporting – leave it to the experts to speak to BT on your behalf and to make sure the fault is resolved properly.

All lines ordered through/transferred to Entacall will receive free Standard Care. BT Standard Care desk operates during working hours (0800 – 1700 hours Monday to Friday, excluding Public and Bank Holidays). BT aim to respond to a fault report by 17:00 hours of the next working day. Where the fault is reported outside normal working hours, the fault will be treated as if it has been reported at the beginning of the next working day. Work will only be carried out during working hours.

Will we still pay for calls at BT prices?
No - your calls will also go through our system. By doing so you save up to 70% against BT standard call charges.

If I have ADSL on the line can I transfer the line to you?
Yes. All you need to do is to submit a “Transfer” order.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the order?
To provide us as much information as possible always helps. There is an additional Note section on the order form where you can enter any information that you think maybe relevant to the order.

How do I pay?
All monthly payment is made by Direct Debit.
